(no subject)
Damn i can't remember how recently it was i was bitching that there was nothing good on tv anymore. How wrong i was.
Am sitting watching the pilot episode of Alias on Sky 1 Mix and it suddenly occurred to me that Season 3 should have started over here by now. Then i wondered if maybe season three had been cancelled, a quick check on ABC's website revealed it has been running for 14 episodes (the same number as Angel and other american shows here). Very odd i thought, maybe Sky just didn't pick up the new series, but that would be strange seeing as Season 2 was always shown prime-time on Sky 1 and hadn't been relegated to Mix. What other possible reason could there be that it wasn't on?
Then it hit me, they don't have the bloody time to show it! I can't think of a single night when i can't find tv viewing from 8pm to 11pm.
OK i'm not positive they didn't just decide not to buy the rights this year but i have the sneaking suspicion they'll save it for when the Jake 2.0 season is cut short or for the notoriously shite uk autumn season.
Anyhoo i also just found out that theres a second Dead Like Me season, Score! Its only on episode two in america so it will likely start at the same time it did last year, in September.
I'm sure there are other tv shows i'd be interested in knowing about but they escape me for now.
