things about things
work is weird, i don't wanna think about work.
i bought undertale! i am really BAD at undertale. but i love it so so so much. (hence the icon. <3) it's really making me want to play more games. it's also making me think about things, and what makes me love things. what are the things about things that draw me in and make me love them.
something i love about undertale is that it knows it's a game. self-awareness is so cool, and i love that spn does it too! there's a certain level of good humour that something has to have in order to reference itself, and i appreciate that.
the other day i was feeling SUPER fond of spn, mostly because another thing i love about it is that it's old. it's grown up with a lot of us, and is a very comforting thing to turn to. i am also really fond of things like all its tiny s1 discrepancies, and even its (debatable) plot holes and dropped threads and all its flaws. flawed things are wonderful to me. flawed things are realer to me than perfect things
(and of course i love horror and myths and americana and accents, and all kinds of other things. my arms are sore from doing a workout so i won't type them all, lol.)
are there things about things that will always draw you in, no matter what?
