(no subject)
Yet another entry about work, but now this one is a little better.
Morning started out okay. I kept myself busy for the most part. At one point, my store manager came to me and told me he needed to talk to me. I thought, "oh great, what'd I do?" but he wanted to talk to me about a promotion I had been asking about. He was wanting to know about my school schedule for next semester, and how many hours I need/want. Turns out he was wanting to move me to either grocery or deli. Fuck...(wait, I cant cuss anymore because it offends people...wait, who cares.) FUCK the Deli. I'm worried that my hours will interfere with stuff this summer, and then my school next semester. I'm gonna go talk to him again on Sunday. But Grocery means no more front end, more money, and better chance of promotions later. I'm seriously thinking about management. It's really not that bad.
One more funny thing. A kid came in today with his mom who's sisters with one of the office staff who was there. He's a talkative and friendly kid. Anyway, he went over there and came back with some Life Savers. So his mom said, "That was nice of her. What'd u say to her?" so the kid said, "...how's your mom." May not be funny to you, but me and the cashier were cracking up for a good 5 minutes.
After work I gotta prepare for the blink concert. That means get directions, print the tickets, and clean my car. Then I gotta go meet Nicole's dad before we drive to the concert.
I'm bored. Gonna go play xbox before I go back to work.
