IM GOING TO COLLLLLLEGEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!! Totally unexpected acceptance letter from Allegheny. BAH such a relief im not going to get rejected from every school ^___^
And even better, today was my 1st real day of being a senior. Woke up really late, went to band really late, cut 2nd and went to recording..talked with Tooch the whole time, i missed her. Mrs. Heck was absent again so 3rd and 4th we just had to do a vocab sheet which yizzle maansi and i got done with in 1 period. Chamber, then recording then i cut 8th and stayed in recording. Matt did the drums to the song, it sounds SOOOO good. Mick did the bass yesterday and that sounds awesommme too. Ive recruited the super musicians to do my bidding lol. Im actually really lucky they all agreed to help me out, those guys are crazay good :). Then i did vox, not so good lol but ill redo them. Oh and cindy is doing the bg vox which should be awesome bc i think out voices blend really well, and i asked nathan to do the guitar. if he cant ill ask andrew but i think hes hxc working on something now do idk what then. Oh and i need to figure out the sax/horn parts. And Dunne said we should get windchimes for the end lmao. The songs going to be sooooo goood im soo exciteddddd!!
Then for the rest of the period i was just talking with Dunne and Matt about the music industry and recording studios and whatnot, then Dunne started talking about the technicalities of "If I ain't got you" and it was intense talking about real hxc music stuff, then he mentioned how we're growing as musicians and it was just really cute. Im going to miss Dunne and recording so much next year...real recording studios are nowhere near as accommodating as the school one. I really wish i could just have like 4 free periods and be down there all day. And 9th we talked about the human rights assembly, i <3 colon hah.
So basically i was a lazyass all day and spend half my day in the music wing. Days like this seriously get me thinking about pursuing music. I would usually jet out and say bye really fast bc i dont want to miss other classes, but today it was kinda like, eff that. I really wanna work on my song. Which was not easy for me to do bc my mind is always thinking about academics. But i guess senioritis is truly truly here where i dont even care if i get a cut (not that i will bc i tacked my name on Kimes' sign out sheet hah) And it was so so so worth it. Then pit. Glikos always likes to point out my mistakes. But i honestly dont even think i make that many. And in band he likes to yell at the clarinets. Sometimes we rush or slow down or whatevs, but he definitely makes up some of the mistakes we make. But aside from silly Glikos (who also yelled at me for being late...even tho im late everrryday) it was probably the best actual school ive ever had. Skipped all the classes i hate lol.
