Monday and Tuesday were pretty good days. I finally felt like things were moving on, moving forward, to a place where everything is new. I read some really interesting poetry for one of my classes, randomly ran into Andy and had a very nice lunch with him, and had lots of shenanigans at home. Rob got the Angry Beavers on DVD (anyone else have fond memories of that one?) so we've been having Angry Beaver's study breaks. Plus part one of the house retreat was Tuesday and it actually was kind of fun. I feel like I'm learning a lot, both about my housemates and about God, and that is a good thing.
Wednesday was not as good a day because I broke the cash register at work. I was trying to do a refund and I did one little part of it wrong and the screen got stuck. So I had to get my boss and he could figure it out, so I had to get the big boss on the phone and he tried to talk me through it but the screen said that I owed 30 thousand dollars and it wouldn't let me do anything, so it freaked out and Al told me to unplug the damn thing. From there we had to call IT and take people's ID numbers and it was a huge mess. Apparently this has been happening a lot lately, so while I did do the refund wrong, it shouldn't have gone bezerk on me like it did. It was a mess.
And now I woke up from my trundle bed to the sight of a ladder being put across my window, the painters are here. Well at least tonight I'll be home on LI on a real bed, even if I am packing everything up again. Okay, I have to write this paper so I can go home this afternoon.
Love always,
Kelly Jean
