So, funfunfun is over and now it's time for painpainpain! Queer Prom was probably one of my favorite nights of the semester. I miss the music of the 80's, 90's, and today. And who could have imagined the longevity of the curse of "The Macarena"??? That night was crazy. I worked so hard on my hair, only to get caught in a sudden downpour on the way there. But that's ok, because pre-gaming meant nothing could ruin my night. And thanks to dancing with friends and almost invisible video of it, the night was a raging success.
Saturday was boring at first, but then Inherit the Wind was great! Since I opted to be a jury member, I was close enough to see the spittle flying from the actors' lips as they triumphantly projected their voices. A good night, indeed.
Then Sunday was a trip! Literally. I finally found the right perfume for me. And I hope my nose never gets accustomed to it because this scent has such power over me that I probably spent more on one bottle than I had previously spent on every perfume or body spray I have ever purchased combined. And H&M never fails to make me happy. A new dress for the S&S Formal? Maybe. ;P
Also... "Let's hit up Magnolia and mack on some cupcakes. No doubt that bakery's got all the bomb frostings. I love those cupcakes like McAdams love Gosling." So true.
Yesterday was kind of an experiment in independence... kind of a trial run at big city life- to see if I could handle it. And I was more comfortable and confident than I've ever been in a city before because I've never really been alone in a "dangerous" environment. I think that means I passed. Alllllll riiiiiight! SOOOOOOOOO ready for London.
