Music and Friends
Saw Rush last night at the Tweeter Center in Camden, with TevK and a friend, Farrah, from Long Island. It was AWESOME!!! I won't post the playlist here, but it can be found easily online, and it was AMAZING!!! They played a lot of songs I like, and (I've only seen two other Rush shows) many songs I had not heard them do live before! We had lots of fun, till the end of the night. Turns out that the RiverLine does NOT run all the way back at night. So, stuck in Pennsauken station, we called my roommate, and she was our hero, driving down 45 minutes after midnight to get us. As if this weren't enough, there was a domestic violence incident in the lot, so I called 911. No lie, the 911 operator picked up with '911, what the fuck is your problem?!??" . Nice. I told him my problem. and then hung up. asshole.
Roommate got us, got us to my car in Bordentown, and then home to bed.
This AM, I treated everyone to breakfast at the Princetonian Diner by way of apology, and then Farrah went back to LI, and Tev and I headed to Alloways Creek, in Salem County, to hunt for his ancestors in the graves and towns down there. We found a bit, see his blog. It was a good day, and it's been a really fun weekend.
We're gonna go get food now.
