Maybe Michael Moore isn't too far off with his conspiracy theories about drugstores. He says that the reason we haven't cured a lot of things is because the drug companies wouldn't make money if they were cured. That seemed a little far out there to me, but it IS funny how we don't come up with most medical discoveries till England or Canada has

But I want to bring up the subject of you getting banned from the community. Which community was it exactly. You mentioned "feminist_rage", but I've noticed you on "feminist", since that's the only feminist community I've really tried. And which post was it? Did they delete your reply? I would love to read it in its entirety. And the comments surrounding it.
I went back on to the censorship subject in "feminist". I hope you don't mind, but I brought up your situation without mentioning your name. One of the mods said you were, basically, incorrigible (which I don't buy). The debate got going again, with about five to ten or so members entering into that specific thread. Everything was based on defending the rules, etc. At one point one of the mods completely abused her freezing privileges by freezing my potential replies for no reason except she didn't want to perpetuate drama (which, of course, is far more dramatic). Then she would post more damning comments without my option of reply. Later on she cut out that behavior, but I basically don't want anything to do with that person.
Another major response was, "If you don't like it, leave. This is a private space and we have the right to make our own codes of conduct." Ugh! What about the workplace. They pull that shit all the time to the disadvantage of the disadvantaged, and often that includes women. Why perpetuate that same behavior? I really don't get it.
I don't want to necessarily ditch the one I'm in. Maybe I'm stubborn. At the same time it's not been such an open minded situation at all. Do you know of a feminist community which is more open? Have you joined a new one? Have they reinstated you in the one you were banned in. Would you rejoin if you could?
I've noticed fear on the mods by a few posters ("Did I do it right, if not, could one of the mods delete it" or "I hope this doesn't come across as inappropriate", etc.). This sounds a lot like power tripping, kind of shooting fish in a barrel.
I know you can fight your own battles, most people can. They just banned you and that spurred my freedom of speech defenses. I just wish more people in that community would speak up. Now they can pin it on one or two people, that it is just their isolated problem. Banishment is never something to take lightly. Do you have any theories why it's become like this?

I have no idea why it's become like this b/c I had only been a member for a couple weeks before I became such a horrible misogynist that they banned me.
Oh and FYI I've started my personal journal over as krazyhippie (in case ya wanna friend me), just started yesterday so there are only a couple posts but I'm in so many communities that I'm going to keep steelmagnolia97 just for those. So there won't be any new entries there. Do you mind if I friend you?
Oh and also...I noticed the fear thing too. Everyone saying "is this ok? if not delete it" gets really annoying and I don't understand how the mods don't see a problem with that. Grrr.
