Order 256 [[ Filtered from Millennium/Delilah/Walter ]]

Aug 17, 2008 19:16

Alucard! Seras! Gabriel! I want you to report in immediately. Is Miss Lang cursed? Are you, father? Walter and D are affected and quite badly. We must stop Walter from doing something bloody foolish whilst he believes works for that madman.

d, not affected, the road not taken, walter

I believe Mr. Van Helsing is dealing with a curse of his own, Sir Integra.

Hm. He has reported in already with the happy news. But thank you for the warning.

For what it is worth I have spoken to Walter. Even cursed he still remains civil.

...If he does begin to pose a threat, I will gladly offer my help to distract him.

Of course he is civil. Major also has polished manners, Madam Harker. They are both dangerous.

My Master, I cannot leave Dante.

Don't try anything against Walter. His fate already lies here.

Can't you lull D into a slumber?

I am supposed to leave Walter do actions that he would regret tomorrow! He would help me if I was affected in the same manner.

He is an old John Bull and will show no regret.

D cannot be left, if he were to wake, he would attack. And I won't put Walter above our son.

I feel so bloody impotent. Can't I do anything to help Walter or D?

Walter will return to his senses. While the mad Doctor is still not in the City, I doubt we will have to worry about implants or more mind control.

Major could have ordered him to carry out a mission he would regret, father. That madman only took a few hours to destroy London, imagine what he could order for a whole day.

Integra, do you honestly believe that the Major is suddenly going to order a strike against the City, merely because Walter is on his side for a curse?

Walter has been with him for over a day now, and nothing of that magnitude has occurred. The Major is far too enamored of his plans to just suddenly start striking. He could have done so at any time already.

I have learned to not try to give Major any credit about civility, father. He doesn't play fair. The less Walter spends with him, the better.

Sir Integral.

I can't help you tonight. It's too close to the full moon. I'll be dangerous.

I'm sorry.

Full moon? Don't tell me you are a werewolf.

Blessedly unaffected this time around.

What can I do to help in this situation?

Thank God. Stay far from D. He is unable to restrain his hunger.

How far is far? Other side of the flat, other side of the building, or other side of the City?

And of course you know I wouldn't want to leave, but I also don't want to give him an excuse to beat himself up later.

Nowhere near his quarters would be enough. Alucard is restraining him at the time being.
