Evan and I are sitting in the library at 2 in the morning, unsuccesfully studying some psychology. However, I did manage to accomplish something productive. This is a reworking of a really old song, I guess the only thing that's the same is the chorus.
Brain Fusion
It’s a new day
There’s no better way to change the things you feel
Then to tell yourself tomorrow isn’t real
After all
The world is small and full of buried memories
It’s hard enough when hearts begin to freeze
But it’s only a side effect of the brain fusion
Only another catalyst of my confusion
Just another reason for the secrets in the dark
Just another eye among the sky that sees my future fall apart
You used to tell me
You never felt free
Forever facing everything that used to be
It’s a big change
Realizing, paralyzing everything inside
Learning how to run and where to hide
Something strange
You know you can’t explain outside your mind
I’ll show you if you tell me what to find
You’re not alone now
I’m here to show you how
I know what you feel
You know what I feel
You think you’re moving but you’re standing still
But it’s only a side effect of the brain fusion
Only another catalyst of your confusion
Just another reason for the secrets in the dark
Just another eye among the sky that sees your future fall apart
