[Al's back in the armor, of course. No, he totally wasn't moping after his wish was granted and it was brutally torn away from him and his soul was put back in the armor, not at all. The camera's on a steady surface to show Al standing in his Marshall apartment. He waves before continuing.]

Is it over? Looks like some people are starting to come ( Read more... )

Chips, zetta obviously.

I have my chip in and I wasn't affected! It might have something to do with my, erm, unusual circumstances, though.

But as far as I know, everyone who WAS affected had yet to subtract their chip even if the inverse isn't true.

Ah, right, sounds reasonable. All the more reason for me to get my chip out again.

Besides, the last function that altered emotions was also related to the chips.

Makes you wonder just how much these things are capable of...

And what their limitations are. If I wasn't affected, there must be more that weren't either! And if that's the case, there's gotta be some sort of correlation between those unaffected. Of course, it wouldn't matter if it's easy for chips to come out, but if it's like the times when the location changes or people die, it could help prioritize who should get theirs out first for the safety of the general public.

...Um. Don't mind me. Musing out loud.

It's highly probable a lot more than we think.

There were from what I saw, of course, I didn't as much attention because frankly the prison camp was more exciting.

... if my estimation is correct, it shouldn't be a difficult task for you to find your chip.

I have to agree with you there. After everything it's caused, who knows what its limits are.

Oh! Were you one of the group to travel outside the city?

Your estimation is correct. I know exactly where my chip is. But--to use your own lingo--that's not the only part of the equation; there must be other factors that are preventing me from having it removed. Which... there are. I hope I said that right.

Someone I know was trying to look at them while he was here, but u42nately didn't find anything out.

I was.

.... Heh. [ohgod he's scheming] Eh, it was good enough.

That's not too surprising. Not to undermine your friend's capabilities, I just mean that this is one of those things that would take quite a while to fully understand.

In the mood for sharing stories?

[What what OH GOD WHY.] Really? I tried to imitate as best I could!

He's not my friend, but he is good. It was unlikely he'd find anything, but worth the effort.

It simply reconfirmed my suspicions.

[don't worry it'll only be bad if he ends up getting chipped again. :'D] I've heard worse.

Oh. Well, it was an admirable effort regardless.

And those would be...?

[Oh that's a great comfort :|] It wouldn't be offensive if I practiced at it, would it?

I'm sure it won't be the last.

Among other things? That they used people from other sets, rather than their own, to experiment to begin on. And that camp is where it was factored out.

Nope.

Human experimentation. Isn't that familiar. Did you get any details on it? Who was experimented on, things like that? Er, sorry for all the questions. Just curious.

...What sort of experiments...?
