I watched Home Alone last night. This is the first time I have seen it as an adult. It is a lot different movie at 22(pending 5 or so days). The concept is actually scary. Aside from the slap stick humor and Kevin McAllister [sic] running about the house acting above his age, there is a real sense of danger. Two notorious criminals breaking into a home, okay. But then be a 2nd grader, who doesn't know how to build traps, and have two criminals break in while your parents are away. Terrifying. Regardless, I think it is my favorite holiday movie. I'll take it a step further, it should be everyone's favorite holiday movie. The Christmas Story is a little dated. Who the hell asks for a BB gun for Christmas anymore? Grab 20 bucks and go to K-mart.
