Xmas rant
Ok so Christmas at Disney’s MGM Studios, EPCOT, and Animal Kingdom = Amazing……Except for one part.
Ok So on xmas, Amanda (My girlfriend) our friends Tai and Chris, Chris’s Room mate Karen (Evil Bitch Die) and some other chick named Janelle all went to (in this order) Animal Kingdom, Epcot and MGM. All was good, ish.
At AK Chris, Tai, Karen, and Janelle wanted to ride Everest, ok me and Mandi don’t do coasters so we wandered and went through the Asia zoo walk through thingamajig, it was cool saw a giant gecko (Komodo Dragon) and a bunch of Kitties (tigers). Bout half way through Chris calls us right as they were getting on Everest it is shut down, ok cool we can go on the African safari or something (I had been looking foreword to that for a couple weeks) Nope, Karen gets pissy so we leave AK and go to Epcot.
At Epcot the two things I really enjoy doing, Test Track and Soarin, both have 140 minute + Wait lines. This is not gonna work with me so we all start wandering the world showcase, Karen, Tai, and Chris start drinking. Me and Mandi are tight on Cash so we just wander with them. I’m getting bored but no biggie it’s Xmas so I’ll deal, well it’s getting sorta lateish (Bout 7PM) and I had made it known that I had wanted to go to MGM to watch their fireworks, well Karen just drags Chris and Tai off and we don’t end up getting to MGM till 7:45.
At MGM Fireworks start about 8;30 well we get to MGM about 7:45, and everyone knew all day I had 4 things I wanted to do. African Safari at AK, Star Tours, Muppets 3D, and Great Movie Ride (all three at MGM) we are not in the park 90 seconds and Karen decides for us we are going on Tower of Terror and Rockin Roller Coaster (Note once again two things I can’t handle, and Mandi can do Tower but not Rockin). Tower has a 2 hour wait, rockin 1 hour and some change. So they go get in line for Tower I get to Tower with them, realize it is a true 2 hour wait, bring up ‘hey Star tours, Muppets both are listed as 10 min wait on the big board lets go hit those come back and ya’ll can do Tower’ Karen decides No it’s to far of a walk to the other side of the park and We are all gonna stay right here.
At this point I’ve had it they go get back in line I say fuck it, go ride star tours myself and go to Muppets 3D myself. Mandi calls me bout the time I’m walking out of Muppets upset thinking she was the reason I left. She says fuck Tower (smart Girl) and meets me at the Muppet gift shop (got her a Tinkerbelle birth month necklace to make up for upsetting her, eeeppp that took a chunk out of the bit of cash I had left), I explain why I got pissed and we got watch the Osborn Lights for a bit before wandering back to Tower, the rest of the group was still in line waiting, I’d missed the fireworks cause I had been in Muppets and just Grrrr.
Ok you might wonder why I got so pissy. Mandi took up there for Christmas, on her employee pass, it was supposed to be, Chris, Tai, Mandi and Me. As we are leaving Chris’s house that morning Karen pitch’s a fit about us forcing her to be alone on Xmas and it comes down to she comes or Chris won’t go (he’s a good guy didn’t want her to be alone on Xmas) So ok we bring her alone, and she fucking takes over telling all of us what we are going to do. Hey if she would have came and suggested some things, cool but don’t fucking decide everything we are going to do for us, and (it seemed) go out of your way to make sure the rides and attractions I am looking foreward to, get put on the bottom of the list.
Yes, overall the day was good I spent it with my love, and two of my best friends, but at the same time, Karen really came close to ruining it for me. (Die bitch Die)
