2nd Strike
I've moved into the Opera House now. I'm starting to realize this isn't a bad dream feel a little more settled.
That day where some people were talking about jobs...that was another "curse", wasn't it? I haven't been affected yet. Perhaps I'll be lucky. ...Hmm. The curses don't appear to be as horrible as some people have said they are. They're probably only exaggerating.
It appears to be raining today. ...Well, that's obvious. Rain is supposed to be calming, but all it means is a day I can't go anywhere. Hopefully it won't last more than a day. ...Although I've mostly been my room anyway.
It'd be impolite of myself not to, so...I know I haven't spoken to a lot of the residents of the Opera House so...for those of you I haven't met yet, hello. My name is Charon, and I'm Fakir's foster father. I'm a blacksmith, so if any are you have need of my skills, just let me know.

It feels odd, not working. I didn't expect this, but I'm actually bored. There doesn't seem to be a lot to do here besides...wandering around the Opera and looking through entries on this 'Network'.
So many of the residents of the City appear to be...young. Very young--in their teens, mostly. Although they're not all that age...it's a little disturbing to think so many children could be here without anyone to watch over them.
...Speaking of teens being here without anyone to watch over them, that scholarly fellow came home late the night before the "curse"...drunk. Hmph, never knew he had it in him. I wonder if he makes a habit of it? Fakir better not have allowed himself to slip into that sort of behavior.
Hm. I think I've heard there's a library somewhere in this City. Perhaps I'll get myself some books if the rain lets up...

((OOC: Strikes are hackable. Charon's still a little dazed by being here and...it's manifesting itself in making him grumpy. XD;; But not as bad as when he was possessed by that heartshard. And yeah, I know I need to do a bit more with Charon and Romeo. ^^;; School's been coming up, so I've been a tad busy. Hoping to fix that soon.))
