[[Massimo was sitting in his room, reading a book on Human Biology. It was quiet, and it didn't really seem like he had much else to do. For the past while, Mayfield had been getting him down a bit. Hearing people he knew -- and didn't know -- was a bit strange for him. Maybe a little depressing, as well. For now, all he wanted to do was think about things.
Or... that was the plan, anyway. Without knocking, a man with an all-too cheerful smile came into his room with a baseball.]]
Hey, son! Wanna go out into the backyard and play a little game of Catch with your good ol' dad?
[[Needless to say, Massimo was a little bit horrified. His "father" hadn't really been the type to smile excessively, or even be polite to him. That could only mean one thing.]]
Scout? You've been... d-droned, haven't you?
[[Massimo's reply only caused his "father" to laugh heartily and pat him on the back.]]
Scout? Son, that's not my name, and you shouldn't be calling me by any other name than 'dad!'
[[Massimo closed his book, stood up, and shook his head a bit.]]
No, you're Scout. You're the RED team's Scout...
[[That only triggered more laughing from drone!Scout before he started to leave.]]
Ha ha, if you didn't want to play ball, you could've said so. No need to act like a woman, like your mother.
[[Aaaand Massimo slammed his book down, glaring daggers at the drone.]]
Don't you dare speak about Miss Alice like that.
[[Even more laughing at Massimo.]]

[[And with that, the drone left Massimo alone. Finally. Massimo didn't move for a few moments, just staring at the doorway. He was gone. Scout was... gone. He wasn't exactly the nicest person, but he was starting to think he preferred the non-drone version of him.
A minute or two later, Massimo went to the nearest phone, and decided to make a call.]]
...Um. RED Team? I'm... I'm sorry. Scout's been droned. He's gone. I'm sorry.
[[He hangs up, but then realizes he meant to say more than that, at the very least.]]
