I got a short story published in New Forum, the UCI creative writing journal. So if you are intrigued by what I might right and what other people might write and want to support undergraduate creative writing, then pick up a copy. They should be all over the place, hopefully. In other news Mad Forest opened this weekend and will be playing next weekend so be sure to catch that if you like the Romanian revolution or me. Or theater.
Live Nudes went nicely though sadly was the last show that I will ever be a captain of. Man, that is so weird, so so weird. But hey, I had so much fun and I feel like the troupe is stronger and smarter than ever and would like to think that I had a small part in it becoming this way. Nostalgia. Weepy tears. There was a bit of awkwardness at the end in terms of the winning team, but that was fleeting and really not important. It's just for format's sake, the spoon lies in my trunk until the shows. God, I love Live Nudes so so much.
I had call backs today for As You Like It. I feel like I did a good job and regardless of the outcome I feel really proud of the performance I gave. Still, my toes are curling to know who got cast.
