I wish I was you sometimes.
Just a watcher
choosing when and when not to participate.
Pulled away,
but still included.
Belonging to me and only me
and not at the mercy of someone else's choices.
But we're all different for a reason.
You're you because God designed you that way.
And maybe you'll realize someday
that God designed me this way
for the same reason.
So yes-
I suppose we do make the oddest of friends.
But come on,
you know you'd miss me if I was gone;
just as much as you know you'd hug me
if I broke down in front of you
instead of your brother for a change ;)
