This Killing Time is Killing Me

An excess of time has led me to realise that I need to pick up a new hobby.

I fence, I ride, I drink, I read books, I shoot things, I watch a lot of films, I fling arrows, I hit my mates in fields and I spend a weekend a month down in Toon at school but they all require either other people being present or being in specific places at specific times ( Read more... )

I fully expected this reply from someone as there seems to be a surprising amount of knitters on my f-list.

However I have little use for jumpers, have a scarf and any historical kit I get from an expert knitter.

Viola de Gamba has always caught my eye but noise, expense and time precludes it.

Yup, it would be very noisy and expensive indeed. but fun, I'm sure!

ps knitting isn't just jumpers and scarves. we can do socks too

And hats! I made a Firefly Jayne hat for Gary which is very cunning. Also blankets, though I find crochet better for blankets. There you go, you could learn to crochet! ;)
