Just when you think...
...Life is addicted to serving you crotch-kicks, things suddenly do a 180 and Life says, "Here. Take the keys to my new Porsche. Have a spin, do some crazy shit, get some hookers, go to Mexico, whatever. Enjoy yourself - you deserve it." Life's smiled upon me suddenly.
First - The First Barbeque of the Season! Yesterday, I built our grill (Thanks Jason!) and Phil and I fired that sum'bitch up and cooked some great saaaahsages and ha'dogs. We tried to grill corn, but it didn't quite pan out. No biggie. I was gonna write a big long entry about how glorious grilling is, how it's what truly makes America great, and it's the reason to fight all wars, pay taxes, work and generally be a good contributing citizen, etc.
But.
Enough other shit is going well today that I'm gonna report THAT stuff, too.
1) I have a doctors appt with a sports medicine guy who sounds VERY much like he may be the man to solve my back problems. If he is, I might give him my first born (when I have one. Sorry Dez). More on this later.
2) I have a job interview on Wednesday for a job I'm PERFECT for. Plus, the guy I'm interviewing with was a radio major at Columbia and apparently knows some of the same folk I do from The Zone. I was kinda lame on the phone, but that's ok. I'm a total shoe-in for this job. Wish me luck.
3) Things are going very well with our little family. Phil is contributing (FINALLY!) and Dez and I have been getting along for the last few days. We were on edge last week for some reason, but things seem to have chilled out and all is well in OhFo.
Basically, the weather is the LEAST positive thing in my life right now ... and the weather is gorgeous. :D
