Today, a remarkable thing happened. Not a surprising thing, in the shocking sense, but the type that makes you smile when you're at the mailbox - something that doesn't often happen.
Bishop, who some of you may know (and if you do, I can only assume you love him, as well) made good on his impromptu promise to send me a Windows XP CD ... since I'd run into a string of bad luck with my attempts to re-install Windows. Man. Mr. Bishop came through with flyyyying colors. Not only did he burn me a copy of the disc ... not only does his burn ACTUALLY work (not too shocking if you know the comp-saavy lad) ... not only did he send it with the quickness and without a single complaint ... not only did he include a CD key (nothings better than a complete "gift") ... but he even recognized my royal status on the envelope labeled to "His Highness".
So, thank you, Bishop. Your efforts are both appreciated and impressive. Karma shall not forget you, sir. May you find the empty checkout line. May your newspapers stay dry on rainy days. May you never reach the end of the toilet paper roll. Please, sir, accept my sincerest gratitude. You rock.
Thank you.
Wait. On the envelope ... were you just referencing my immense drug addiction ...?
