TIMELINE PERIOD: chapter 187

ABILITIES: He's fast and agile, most due to hard training and he knows how to use a sword. He can heal himself unnaturally fast and even withstand the akuma virus with the help of a lotus flower encased in an hourglass that's connected to his tattoo. Though, at the same time, if the lotus dies (it loses one petal for each fatal wound it heals on him) Kanda dies. He’s stubborn, as said above, and he doesn’t back down that easily

CHARACTER HISTORY: Kanda has one purpose in his life, which his training and his reasons for being an exorcist will (he hopes) lead him to in the end, and that is to find “that one person”. No, he’s not Sasuke. There hasn’t been anything else revealed about this specific person canonly yet, not even whether it’s a woman or a man or if Kanda’s related to them. Kanda states that he will never allow himself to die before finding this person, however hard the search may become, and he doesn’t like to talk about the matter either, (so you probably won’t find out much about it from him,) and he doesn’t appreciate people asking him about his past and his childhood

While making their way through the rooms in the Ark, Kanda comes to a decision to stay and fight the Noah Skin Bolic, very much as if he'd be sacrificing his life to let the group continue on. It's not much of Kanda going against his own principles as it is his urge to want to fight this strong opponent, as he actually enjoys to fight to a kind of extreme degree. It turns out to be one of the most intense battles he's faced, and he suffers severe injuries, as well as having to use the "Sangenshiki", which costs him a bit of his own life. His sword Mugen is broken and shattered into pieces, but the parts of the sword are still working as an innocence when he finally kills Skin. Though, when the Ark collapses, Kanda's too late to reach the door out and is “killed” with the others left behind. Later, when Allen restores the Ark, Kanda and the other “lost” exorcists are revived

ASSASSIN'S CREED: Malik Al-Sayf

CHARACTER HISTORY:Relatively little is known about Malik's background, except that he was trained as an assassin by the Hashshashin (or "Assassiyun" - the "Faithful"/"Fundamentalists") sect under their leader Al Mu'allim, rising slower in rank than the highly talented and therefore favoured Altaïr, however. Therefore, at the beginning of the game, he is still lower ranking than Altaïr, who is about the same age as him. We also learn that he has a younger brother, the novice Kadar, who accompanies Malik and Altaïr on their mission in Solomon's Temple close to Jerusalem, where Al Mu'allim had sent the three at the beginning of the game to steal a mysterious treasure from the Knights Templar

CHARACTER PERSONALITY:

One simple word to describe Malik's personality is harsh. Malik seems to be fuelled by anger and perfectionism. Hot-tempered and gifted with a loud voice and a fittingly strong accent, he is very strict on rules as he perceives and interprets them, and is not afraid to instantly let you know when and how spectacularly you failed - but also why. With all his anger and shouting and criticising, Malik isn't above giving what he considers good advice either, even if his rough tone and directness usually let it come across as anything but well-meaning

HOW IS THIS CHARACTER APPROPRIATE FOR THIS SETTING: With this canon, there's really no need to worry about appropriateness in general. He's an Assassin in Syria, at the time of the Crusades - namely, the year 1191. He's been trained as a killer since childhood, and he has just recently watched his younger brother being killed by Templars, and also lost an arm at the same time. As for my reason for apping him here - simple. He's good with unforeseen/difficult situations, see Salomon's Temple. And this here? Is a particularly hard one. I want to see how that will make him change, and how he's going to deal with it.
WHAT WILL THEIR DIAGNOSIS BE: Obsessive-Compulsive Personality Disorder.
PREDICTED PSYCHOLOGICAL EFFECTS: Anger. First and foremost, raging anger. Gladly, he has a pretty good control over himself despite that, but his primary emotion will be rage.
