Summary: Cross wants to talk. Probably about Allen. And that whole deal with Mayuri trying to take the Innocence out of his arm. Or maybe how to get more cigarettes.

Mayuri barely glanced up when the door opened, seeing the security girl for a few moments before the door shut behind the patient who had stepped inside. He finished the last few sentences on his current work before setting down the pen and actually sitting back, looking up at the red-headed patient. Cross Marian, age 37, known as an Exorcist. No apparent parasitic Innocence. He was silent for a moment, scrutinizing the man (this was, after all, the first time he'd gotten a good look at him) with a keenly scientific eye before speaking.

"Sit down." It was as much cordiality as Cross was going to get. Given that there was so much work to do, it would be a while before Mayuri was in top form again; he hadn't even gotten his typical uniform back together, and looked more human than he had in a long time (despite the scars running everywhere). It was irritating. "It's not. However, Paul is busy at present, so someone else had to get you." He doubted she would have made an adequate replacement for Paul, but the thought of getting rid of the boy in favor of almost anyone else continued to be tempting. "What is it you want to say?"
