Sometimes a guy's just gotta set the world on fire. )
As if nothing had happened, he pushed his chair back and stood up, moving closer. "I gotta take your blood-pressure and all. Don't make a fuss, that's gonna take a few minutes."
He actually had to do it. There might be records required later on, and this was so small a point that he didn't want to risk it to eventually cause trouble and arise questions about the real intention of this meeting.
While he worked, measuring Axel's blood-pressure and pulse, taking notes and testing the patient's basic reflexes, he at least was close enough to whisper to him.
"Then listen well, shorttime." His voice was low and pragmatic, without giving time for interruption, only stopping briefly when the tests required it. "You do something that makes me happy, I do something that makes you happy. There'll be a bottle of rubbing alcohol and a pack of matches ready for you tomorrow. I give you a target and make sure they sleep, you take care of the rest. You only get one chance, shorttime, so don't mess up."
Interrupting his examination, Paul looked up at Axel's face, permanent black eyes still not blinking. "Got that, shorttime?"

Something told Axel that wasn't his main focus though, as sure enough, he was whispering to him again. Tilting his head slightly, a look of thought on his face, he listened.
Axel wondered vaguely what he was playing at. Wasn't he part of the staff? Something was up if the guy didn't want anyone to overhear. Unless that was part of their game, to earn your trust. Maybe he hoped to call Axel's bluff.
Sliding his eyes shut, he let out a small laugh, obviously thrilled with the offer.
"One chance is more than enough," he whispered back, not raising a single protest about the poor victim. Really, Axel felt there was no possible way to mess it up. He was slightly curious as to who the victim would be, but as long as it wasn't anyone he knew, it'd be easy.
Too easy. He was already getting excited. Was this guy for real?
"So if I get it right this time, what comes next?" he mumbled. He couldn't help it, he was a selfish guy, and if there were more chances like this in the cards, he'd take them.
It wouldn't get him out, far from it, but it'd keep him entertained.

He was silent while taking notes, then measured Axel's weight and weight and whispering his reply at last. "Depends on you. If I'm happy, you're gonna be happy, too." He stopped the examination for a moment to look at Axel and smirk. "And if I'm not happy, there's no reason why you should be, is there?"

That had always been for the scientists to know, and he never cared to figure it out. He kind of loathed the fact he lacked one, anyway.
He was surprisingly well behaved for all the procedures, standing still and going through the motions as needed, that grin on his face the whole time. Not only did he get the chance to play with fire again, but this could open up alot more opportunity. Opportunity Axel did not want to pass up. If this member of the staff kept his promise, everyone involved would be happy.
Well, except the poor victims. But who cared about them, really? Sounded like there were worse things in this place than a few burns.
"No sir," he said, sarcasm lacing the what should have been polite response. "I'm happy if you're happy. Sounds easy enough." He raised a forefinger, tapping it to his temple for extra emphasis.
"Anything else, doc?" he said, in a normal volume. If anyone was listening, they'd be considered if the two had been quiet too long, wouldn't they? Plus, he had to keep up appearances. Copious amounts of sarcasm had to be given to the staff equally, right?

"Get enough sleep if you want to do something against your restlessness," he said loud enough for the microphones, and then added in a whisper, without even looking at Axel, "Do it at night."

Well, if that was the case, Axel could guarantee he wouldn't be disappointed. If he did get caught, he wouldn't tell the staff how he got the stuff anyway. Leave them wondering, now that'd be a fun game. Plus, if he blabbed, how would he get matches the next time?
It reminded him vaguely of a meeting with Marluxia, long ago, where in order for Axel to prove himself, he'd been required to perform a similar task. Except, last time, someone had died in that incident.
Huh. Funny how these kind of things came around to bite you in the ass. Axel had suffered worse than bites, though, so he could handle it.
"Got it," he said loudly, adding a roll of his eyes. "Thanks for your concern," he added, grinning. Then, he lowered his voice again.
"No problem."
If the man wanted to call his bluff, he'd be sorely disappointed.

Then he put down his notes to give Axel a smirk, before leading him to the door and unlocking it.
"We're gonna have lots of fun together," he whispered, before pushing him outside.
