Summary: Eiji's first therapy session. D:
DAY/NIGHT & Time: Early evening
Status: Closed/Incomplete
The therapy room was a few doors down from Eiji's cell.
Eiji was not late to his appointment for 'therapy.' All his arguments with the strange, man -- woman? -- doctor had failed. The doctor had insisted. For one thing, it was stupid and cowardly to think Eiji could put the doctor off. And for another thing, it wasn't fair or right to go running to Ash every time something exploded. Dammit. Eiji was two years older than him! Time to start acting his age. Ash had said to be careful of danger and to stay in-cell, but this was just a session between doctor and patient. What could go wrong?
His plan was simple. Eiji would agree to any tests needed to prove his sanity. Face to face it would be easier to explain that Eiji DEFINITELY did not need 'therapy,' Just because Eiji's life had taken a turn for insane when he'd met Ash Lynx, didn't mean Eiji himself was INSANE. The doctors here said that everyone here suffered from hallucinations, but Shorter's ... hadn't been an hallucination! Max Lobo, Ibe-san ... none of the friends he'd made in New York could be hallucinations. It just wasn't possible!
He shook his head, and briefly looked at the rug.
So here he was, waiting for his 'therapist' to arrive. There was nothing else to do except think and look at his surroundings. Thinking ... seemed like a bad idea. He shifted on the couch, awkward. The couch felt too padded under his legs. And the people in the portraits on the wall looked so creepy! Expressionless. He stared at them in fascination. Perhaps they were former patients of Saint Edelweiss ... he did his best not to shudder at the thought.
