But the guts the boy had impressed Shira. There was no sign of fear, no bit of even hidden tension in his approach. Shira was a veteran when it came to fighting, and dumb as he looked, necessity and experience had given him a lot of skill in reading his opponent's body language. He could tell the difference between a bluff and real fearlessness, unless it was a damn good bluff - but here, there was nothing, no tension, no fear, no mistrust even. Just curiosity and that fucking clueless stare.
"'Hello'?"
And he stared back for a long moment, from his one eye, slightly hunched over because the straightjacket holding his one arm down and tight to his body didn't let him stand properly.
"So," he began after another moment, frowning at the curious stare. "An' what now?"

He repeated again, in case the man didn't understand. After all, he didn't seem all that bright -- almost like Leech. Leech wasn't very smart and just did what he was told, as long as he had proper motivation. That was what he was getting from this man. Blue eyes moved to stare at the straightjacket that the man was in and he clicked his tongue almost, looking amused at this. He was an obvious threat to the community, if the rash way he had confronted the boy before wasn't enough to give that away. Easily manipulated.
He wasn't afraid of this man either. And the man knew that.
"I don't remember."
He admitted -- and this was true -- and frowned back, tilting his head to the side and staring upwards with those arms swinging. "It musn't be that important then." That was true as well. He couldn't remember unimportant things, and he had tried. But they were a waste of time to try and remember and he couldn't ever remember past a week. But his brain knew what it was doing, he supposed.
