The face was not an unfamiliar one, but it wasn't exactly a welcome one. His words would have been short and clipped to any of them, but (though not really noticeable) especially so to this one. His back was straight as he stayed behind the redhead, eyes continually locked on the one in front of him, quick glances elsewhere only reserved for seeing where they were going or if they were approaching any sort of hazards the other could pick up.

Of course, there weren't any.

And there weren't even any serious issues. Kiric directed, Claire listened, and it was- as close as a trip like this got to peace. Compared to Asano's trip, at least.

He wasn't sure if he should be grateful or not.

The back of the doctor upon opening the door made it somewhat better, and Kiric stood aside on the threshold while he waited for Claire to get in (with little to no instruction - the man should've been able to handle that), glasses catching the light as his eyes moved over the room. Spacious. Open. And the smell of vague chemicals already floating in the air. For all of the old horror stories the files and patients seemed to speak off, he'd only encountered one real sort of doctor- and this was that sort. The poised, smiling, drug-bearing sort.

It made his stomach curl and his teeth grit, but only because that had to be the worst sort of doctor around. And he would have to stay in for this round, wouldn't he?

... Well. It would be a good chance to figure out what, exactly, made Hush smile so much.
