Graham nearly tumbled straight onto his face as Hidan avoided the last blow, his knuckles scraping the ground for an instant before he was back up again, glaring at the bloody mess that was straying away. He glared at Hidan, ready to snatch up some fallen piece of the stool from the floor, when he recalled that this level of damage should certainly have killed the man by now. A crushed throat, at least two concussions, that much blood loss ... and yet he was still standing.
Sort of. And bleeding everywhere. Graham, his hands and uniform completely splattered in blood, turned to frown unhappily at his target. Normally he wouldn't have let up, but he had to keep reminding himself that this kind of attack should have already killed the man. If he didn't die, then ... would Hidan be right? Would the glory of his god really save him from the death that was so inevitable?
Why hadn't he suffocated to death yet?
"Well? Hurry up and die. I'm not very patient, and I have to tell everybody what I've done." The idea of punishment for his actions never even crossed his mind.
