So I went to a concert tonight. Keb Mo' and the Robert Cray Band at the Pier Six Pavillion in Baltimore. It was unbelievable. I was maybe 15 rows back, but still close enough that I had a great view. Wound up being kind of an intimate set, and there weren't really any people around, so I kind of took advantage of the space and was "that guy" -- dancing all the time, and clapping and screaming at the best times before anybody else did. But the coolest part...? Roadie-Dude walks up to me, halfway through Robert Cray's set and says "hey man, you look like you're having such a good time, I know you'll appreciate this" and hands over Robert Cray's signed guitar pick.
Kind of smudged, but hey, even if it isn't legit, it's memorabilia and kind of a cool story -- one of the coolest things to happen to me all year. Just wanted to share.
