End of the Year Meme
January: For 2006, I resolve to stop turning Japanese, or at least not become more Japanese than I already am.
February: So I got to help teach an "International Understanding" lesson for an Ethics class at school today... done almost entirely in Japanese.
March: So I get an email from my dad today, which is sort of suprising.
April: I figured that I'd make an entry today, but there really isn't much to report.
May: On Saturday night, I drank: [followed by a list of about 16 drinks from 4 different bars]
June: So I just sent out an email placing my bid to become the new AJET webmaster.
July: The weekend was good.
August: J**** CHR***, am I busy.
September: Today, I went into Hiroshima to talk with a travel company RE: my winter vacation.
October: I want to get over her, but I don't want her to get over me.
November: Thursday night, I went out drinking.
December: God, I am so fuckin' trashed.
So, according to the averages of nigh-random samples and basing fuzzy proportions off of this, I was drunk about 1/4 of the year, busy for another 1/4, traveled or will be traveling for about 1/6 of it, and angst, angst, angst for the last 1/3.
Kind of interesting to see the milestones past, though. Alana was here almost a year ago and she broke my heart again in October; it's been a couple of weeks since we last spoke together and I don't know if that will change anytime soon. I visited Maine last May and started seriously planning my upcoming Cambodia trip in September; for this next year, I'm currently looking into a trip to China in March, a working vacation in Bangledesh in May, and another visit back home for Adam's wedding in June. There were a lot of different responsibilies between my old schools and my new schools. Of course, there were too many parties to count, too.
A good year? You decide.
