Just saw this music video and I couldn't help but wonder - is this the video that the casting call from a few months back was about? If so, it's...uh.....interesting....?

The music video is pretty, her outfits are gorgeous and I love her long pink hair but.. seriously? The music? Can't there at least be a harpsichord or a drum or SOMETHING applicable to the surrounding? Blech. Needs to be redubbed with something more appropriate to the video.

^THIS. I'm trying to convince myself not to do this outfit for Halloween and currently failing miserably (that wig and that SKIRT...too fabulous), but IMO the actual music doesn't have a steampunk sound at all.

My guess is that maybe they thought heavy autotuning = kind of mechanical sounding = hey, let's make this steampunk....though I do feel that they most likely pulled a Bieber and wanted to hop on the steampunk bandwagon =P

That's a good point. I happen to agree, thinking they pulled a bieber. My friend pointed out that it may be that M... whatever her head is actually like steampunk, which is rad, but I would hope
she would have made an effort to put more identifiable "steampunky" elements in the music.

Ftr I think you should totally make the outfit for Halloween, it would be gorgeous!
