Hat, hats and more hat related stuff.
Yup I thought i'd share my collection of hats and other hat-related items. I will admit most of my hats arn't the least bit steamy but I do have a couple that fit the bill. I am also slowly in the process of putting together some hat pins that if I think they look good and depending on what others think I may sell some in the near future.
Hat number 1:
A simple coachman's style hat I found at a local thrift store for a song. The hat pin with it is vintage and dates to about 1910 or so.
Hat number 2:
A bowler I got from work(Target) on clearance. It originally had some feathers in the hat-band but my darling children seem to have made them disappear. Oh well.
Lastly my newest one is my top-hat.
Now this is the one hat pin I have put together, I know its not a stick-pin like the Victorian's used but I used what I could find(I'll order some real stick pins online).Frankly I was tired of all my hats being black so I decided to add some color and thus the feather was added. Next up I think I'll go with peacock, just to add some more fun into the mix. I also plan on modding one of these hats with dye...could be fun.
