prepare for a wicked long entry.

im home. im sure you know that considering its been about a month since ive been home, but my slow connection to the internet here has made it nearly difficult to let you know how my life is going at home, unless you happen to live here, then you know just about everything thats going on. but slow connection or not, nothing will stop me from writting an lj entry, even if it is ridiculously long.

I work a lot, for my aunt so far helping her fix up a rental property thats been in the process of being fixed now for a little over a year. shes insane, but she pays me well and thats enough to get me up and over there to help paint or mow the lawn. i just found out on thursday that i got the job with the school agian so ill be doing that at the begining of july making less then my aunt pays me but probably staying a little more sane. if all goes well hopefully ill also be working at video mat. i still havent gotten the call but i should hear back from them soon due to the fact that my parents are friends with the manager. if thats the case then ill be raking in the money.

unfourtunatly that money will no longer be used for london next year. my grades werent that hot this semester and as a result i cant go to london. im kinda bummin. that would have been a fucking great expierence, living out in fucking london. but i screwed up, so ill have to pay. Dont ever go into Chemical Engineering, its fucking tough. Hopefully though the money i will earn will go to a car. i really want my own car, so im still planning on saving up. Im not really looking forward to living in syracuse again though. Staying with HTL is a definate plus, and doing shit with those dudes is gonna be awsome. and obviously staying around with shelley is great but as of right now i got nothing for housing and am probably looking at living in the fucking dorms, once again. i might be able to find someone whos subletting the second half of the year but, i dunno. i really would like to get a job so i can pay for shit, and would have to get a parking spot if i got a car. i dunno, ill have to figure that all out soon.

besides working for my aunt, up until thursday, i was searching for other jobs. finding work around here is near fucking impossible. john, ben and i found an ad in the paper that looked promising. the ad said, no joke, "if you like loud music, working with the opposite sex, and just like having fun, come apply today!" that sounded right up our ally so we went to check it out at the place in salem NH. pretty much we walked in, filled out an application and went in for an "interview" all in about 30 mins. the guy sees me and ben at the same time. we walk in, he shows us a bunch of handwritten checks for like 1800, 1600 a week says "like those numbers, wanna work for us, show up here tomorrow in a tie at 10 of 10 and dont be late". apparently the place sells carpet cleaners and will pay you a bunch if you can sell em, but you go fucking door to door and tell the people they need the carpet cleaner. not to mention the place looked like the type of place that would just pack up shop and move before you ever got paid, it felt like a con. im glad i got to expeirence that though.

my show going attendence has been non exsistant lately. in fact my hardcore life is basically dead right now. it seems that along with being unable to update lj frequently, shitty computers hinder you from knowing about any hardcore shows coming around or dling any new bands or songs. not to mention that a lot of my music is on my laptop and the only place with a cd player is my room, the place i spend the least amount of my time. pretty much ive been strictly listening to the radio for the past month. at first the hardcore withdrawl was killing me, now im starting to embrace rock radio (which really isnt that bad cause they basically always have a STP, Soundgarden or Pearl Jam song on or a song containing at least one of members from one of these bands). I think posi numbers might solve the problem though.

Ive been to new york twice within the past 2 weeks. the first time i went, i went with jmc, ben and pat and we took long island by storm. i finally meet frankie galasso from Dream Street and watch porn with him. we also hung out at jmc's apartment and ben got to wash dirty dishes that were there for over 3 weeks. fucking gross, covered in mold and shit. discusting.

The second time i went down to NY was this past weekend actually. i went down with ben and nick and we stayed at nicks friends aparentment from school. we had a fucking great time and no story can go untold on this weekend. so here goes.

We left friday morning at about 730. my dad drove us into alewife and we took the T into south station. from there we went to china town and bought a ticket for the Fung Wah bus, a bus that runs from Boston to NYC for 10 bucks. the bus came at 10 and luckily we were the last three to get on. unluckily i had to sit alone in the back. It turned out that the people i was sitting next to were from ireland and were talking in accents i could not understand. then, the start breaking out cans of Milwakes Best and getting drunk right there on the bus at 10 in the morning. they must of had at least 6 or 7 beers between all of them. totally filled the sterotype. we got into nyc and took the subway over to nicks friend gary's apartment. we grabed food and hung out at the apartment with gary and his gf until we decided to go out and explore the town. we went all over the place, rockafella center, trump tower, the amazingly beautiful and breath taking Saint Patricks Church, time square were we met a guy straight out of 1986. The guy had tight black jeans, red shirt with a fucking huge tie, gross white puffy jacket, beard, aviators, 80s comb to the side haircut, and he said "buby". Guy sucked and has recieved the name "white knight" (if you dont get it, you suck). we went into the enormous Toys R' Us and played around, telling everyone Kate Hudson was there. We walked around some more and headed back to the apartment. On the way back we walked through a large group of people and i started to notice that all the guys i saw had long hair and were wearing metal shirts. when the started talking i realized that they were a foreign tourist group, probably from sweden were every kid loves Slayer and Manowar. A large group of foreign tourist metal heads was quite a sight to see. at the apartment we played James Bond video games and watched bio-dome until we feel asleep.

The next day we walked forever. we left the apartment at about 1230 and walked all fucking day. We walked down around the NYU area and got some lunch. Then walked down broadway and checked out all these thirft shops and other stores. went down through china town were we bought bootleg dvds, Mean Girls for john and nick bough Envy. We then went down to the brooklyn bridge and saw more foreign tourist groups and headed over to the ground zero area and down by wall street. then we got into batery park and got attack by both jesus freaks and dudes trying to sell watches. Some dude offerd Nick 25 bucks for something and nick tried to talk him down. when he said 10 bucks the guy walked away insulted and wouldnt look at us. we then walked all the way up the piers right up to 30th st were we started and took a cab back to the apartment. the walk took fucking all day, but it was awsome. we got to see so much of the city. by then we were pooped so we watched envy (the worst fucking movie ever) and relaxed. after regaining some energy we got ready and headed back out at about 10pm. we walked over to greenich village and looked for a place to get some dinner. as we were walking around some dude walked up to nick and gave him a menu to a pizza joint then proceded to try to sell him weed and coke. very sketchy situation, but we just said no and walked away. sucked. after that we continued to try to find a place to eat and saw non other than the drunk irish people i sat next to on the bus drinking at a resturant. had to have been some omen. we ate dinner at this weird horror themed resturant and droped 73 dollars between the three of us. manhaten is sooooo fucking expensive. They charged us for soda refills and each a dollar for "entertainment fees". we made friends with the waitress though and had a good time so that helped. after that we walked around some more and headed back to the apartment. on the way back some big frat asshole walked up to me and just started saying "WHAT? WHAT?" in this tough guy, lets fight kind of voice. i just kinda looked at him and asked what back and he just gave an asshole smirk and walked away. fucking douche bag that guy was. we got back to the apartment, played more video games and fell asleep.

Today we left at about noon, got some food and headed to the were the bus takes off. on the subway over we saw a 6 year old kid in a Motorhead tee shirt. seriosuly that has to be one of the coolest things ive ever seen. we started singing ace of spades to him and his dad was totally into it. he asked his kid if he wanted to go see motorhead and the kid was like "yeah!" all excited. man i wish i was that cool at 6. we got to the fung wah place, bought our tickets and go to get in line, only to see, you guessed it, our favorite 4 irish people standing in the line. out of all the times they decide to take the bus, they take the exact same one as us. seriously we should have befriended them. they were the only people on this bus that was on the bus that left friday. what are the odds huh? the ride was long and sucked but we got in not to late and i got home at about 730pm. whata fun fucking weekend. i think i pretty much said everything but ben and nick if i forgot anything, be sure to let me know.

Chilling in NYC this past weekend and just going to boston a couple of times has really made me wanna live in the city, probably boston. i love that city. maybe i could go to graduate school there or find a job after school. i dunno, syracuse is aight but its just not doing it for me. i heard my aunt talking about apartments cause my cousin is going to school in boston and she said something about a studio apartment for like 950 a month right in Bunker Hill. sounded nice to me and if i shared that with someone might be cool. i dunno i cant belive how fast life after school is creeping up.

On top of everything thats been happening the past month, the one thing ive been looking forward too is going down to see shelley. i leave next saturday. im driving down with jmc and his dad cause they were going to dc anyways and then im flying back the next weekend. i cant fucking wait. a week off, doing nothing, spending the whole time with shelleybean is going to be great. its exactly what i need.

well, if you made it this far im done. good night.
