The Season

Sep 23, 2010 18:10

Rain on the window,
Miniature explosions of sky,
gentally running down.
I'd want to be away from summer,
the sky open and exploding,
on my cheeks.
Crunch of leaves under my feet,
Is it obvious that I walk on this place
This place of summer.
Under the heat of a flame,
the flame boils the explosions,
on my cheeks,
on the leaves,
in this beautiful fall season.
I dance,
To the beat of wind against the windows,
little explosions plenting my mind,
pelting my cheeks,
I dance to the people's cry to summer,
But this time fall is mine,
Crunch of leaves under my feet,
The wind on my face,
They say come inside,
But I can't hide the feeling I have,
The explosions going on in my head,
my dancing starts to stiffen,
I'm so happy.
I laugh with the snow,
It brushes me with ice.
The summer calls me back,
People scream for the snow to leave me,
But I dance in the swirls,
of its love.
The bites on my arms,
on my cheeks,
snow under my feet.
Come back to me fall.
I'd dance with you, leaves.
I collapse.
Winter!
Winter betray my joy again!
Dare to take my fall away from me.
The summer is running
Summer, help me.
My dancing legs have froze,
My laugh is caught in the wind,
against the windows.
Summer, I'm drowning.
Your people, are crying for you.
I will never dance with you,
Winter.
