I did a tracing of this shirt for my chief submission to this site.
Carved my first relief block since, ah, 2003? Shit. It's tiny, too. 2 3/4 x 4 1/2" Now to buy ink and try printing it. Mmm, yeah.
FINALLY finished that !@#$% commission for my coworker. I took the liberty of treating it like a red-headed mixed media stepchild and tested the waters on combining drawing and painting. I feel good about it, but I question its worth in terms of form. Lately I've been questioning some of what I was taught regarding color. That's about as much about that as I can say right now.
Put a wash on a pixel painting of a coffee cup from Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow.
Played for a few scant minutes with the shadows on one wash painting.
Worked on a conceptual formal drawing I haven't touched since 2006. I didn't realize it had been so long! It'll get finished as soon as I buy a new 005 Micron pen, which will also happen when I go buy some relief ink and a brayer! Wednesday I think. Man, how exciting!
Got a visual on Joe Biden after forgetting what he looked like. Now that I recognize him from putting his foot up peoples' bums on CSPAN, I feel better about the Dem. nomination for VP.
