And now, questions from Paige:
1. in your ideal house what colour will your living room be? you kitchen? your master bath? your bedroom? and why?
Oh dear, I haven't really thought about this, so I will think about it right now. My living room will be a deep muted purple. My kitchen will be yellow-orange. My master bath will be turquoise. My bedroom will also be turquoise. Why? I don't know. It sounds good right now.
2. what is the most interesting name you ever had for a stuffed animal/baby doll when you were growing up? How did you come up with it?
The only animal I ever had with a consistent name is Fuzzy, my teddy bear that I have had since I was born. I don't think I named him until I was about 2, at which point a hole had developed in one of his feet, and i stuck my finger in and felt his stuffing and said "Fuzzy!" (I still sleep with Fuzzy when I am not sleeping with anyone else. I accidentally left him at home at the end of winter break. Ooops! Good thing Steve is done with debate tournaments until spring break -- I had to cuddle with pillows. It was rough.)
3. What is your favourite part of being you?
Oh wow. I guess I really like my generally optimistic approach to life, because it keeps me happy and healthy and laughing and having fun all of the time. I don't really get sad for long periods of time and I don't get too stressed out about things, and I tend to have a very positive mental attitude at all times. It's nice. It makes life fun.
4. How's the weather up there? ; )
If this question is not meant literally, I'm not sure what you mean, so here is a literal answer:
It's a little cold. It snowed on Thursday morning. Beautiful snow with huge flakes. And then Steve and I drove out of Walla Walla and out of the snow, and in Kennewick it was just cold and a little rainy every now and then. And when we got back to Walla Walla, all of the snow was gone. Boo!
5. Aside from the apple one, what design would you do for a tattoo that would represent you and why (it could be a sleeve, so it's not limited to just ONE... but if it's a sleeve, they have to go together somehow)
Arg! This is a hard question!! I think I would get a little seashell and a bumblebee, which is how my dad always used to write my name back when I was really little and couldn't read yet. And those are both good things to have, because they are natural, and beautiful and dangerous. Seashells were once homes for little animals, but by the time they wash up on the beach they are just leftovers. Bumblebees are scary and have stingers, but also make honey. I like those contradictions. I'm a pretty contradictory person sometimes.
