Being 21 in Europe is just like being 20 in Europe. Except that you get more cards and chocolate and random euro-store items (pink plastic she-ra sword and giant stuffed pear!) and facebook comments, and eventually you will party it up at the Art Bar with lots of your friends, even though you could have done that any other day in Italy.

The big difference will be when I go home and can spend all summer at the bars with Paige. =]

I am LOVING being 21 so far though. My life feels very exciting and promising right now. And so, on this occasion, here is a list of things I am excited about right now:
>last weekend's whirlwind Venetian romance
>going to Sardinia on Saturday and lounging around beaches and caves and ruins with Virginia and Lauren all week
>taking a ferry from Sardinia to Rome. I LOVE ferries!
>meeting Paige in Rome and having an exciting weekend there, including Virginia's 21st birthday
>Paige being in Florence all week after that
>Stefan getting here the next Wednesday and staying until Sunday
>Sonja and Sara getting here tha same Saturday and staying until Wednesday
>eventually hearing about the Beinecke scholarship (hopefully excited)
>having a summer architecture internship
>summer
>my house next fall
>life

Yes, things look really good from where I'm sitting. More birthdays for everyone!
