Manny is gone from the Red Sox.
Win for me: I hate him. I won't see him nearly as much anymore. Very few players have as much of an unhealthy respect for the game as he does and it disgusts me everytime I see him. Seeing as he's no longer in the AL East with the Yanks, I doubt I'll see much news of him anymore.
Win for Boston: Manny didn't want to be in Boxton anyway. He has hardly given his all. Most things he's ever done were probably at 60% of his maximum effort. Now his mediocre defense and self-gimped(albeit-respectable) offensive capabilities are the Dodgers problem. Hopefully Jason Bay will work out and keep the rivalry between Boston and NY a good one.
