The crew often speculated when their captain's sleeping hours were. One sect strongly believed that everytime his eyes closed due to the intensity of his smile, he dozed for a few moments and essentially power-napped through the day. Others guessed that he slumbered normally, but still with his persistent grin. The real answer, however, was much simpler: Gin slept when he wished ( ... )

There was no reaction. Seated in the corner, the shadows of the room seemed to wrap around Aizen's stern figure, his peering eyes staring at nothing. His smile - his real smile - was well placed, reflecting his arrogance, his security. It was as if upon his lips, there was a giant neon sign that read, “Don't fuck with me.”

He wandered to the only other open seat within the cabin and sat himself, a collected, organised pile of thin limbs and pale skin.

"You manipulated his circuitry, I'm guessing.”"Sure did, buddy. An' it's not like he's gonna be gone for long. As much as he's gonna like it over there, he ain't gonna go nowhere without fillin' in a proper request. Which'll be rejected." He steepled his fingers. "The thing with the three-thousand-two-hundred series - y'know, the specimen numbers? - is that ( ... )

“His lips certainly did seem sealed.” His smile faded to a more serious expression, taking off his glasses. It was a wonder, how two pieces of glass in a metal frame had such a psychological impact - his intellectual look made him appear far more trustworthy. “I was rather surprised. I had expected him to come running to me. Sanctuary from the insane Captain ( ... )
