I hate LINUX!

I thought about switching my old computer to Linux since the retarded craptastic Netgear router wasn't working. My internet connection kept hanging up so I had of it. Plus I wanted to see what's the hype about Linux. I'm not super tech-savy or do I know shitload of codes and what not, but I can fix a computer and see what's wrong with it. At least I can follow instructions.

So, I download Ubuntu Linux since it is about 700mb which I can fit on my cheap CD-R. First time installing...THE DAMN THING DIDN'T GO THROUGH. I had to restart my computer several times because it would load into a blank screen. After a few attempts, finally it would get through and install the rest. Ok, after all that was nice and dandy....I don't know how this shit would detect my Netgear wireless card. So I went back to my main computer and search up a few things. OHHH, look at this, it said that Linux doesn't support my gay ass Netgear wireless card and that you got to do some command lines. I spent the whole night and next day just to get it work. Oh wow, so far doesn't work. So I'm frustrated.

Yet EVERYONE on the net been blabbing about how easy it is to use Linux. Um..if it was really that easy to use linux, I would have been on my other computer typing this rather than sitting at my main computer complaining how frustrating it just to install a damn driver. With Windows XP, I can just pop the CD in and have it install. I'm done with Linux, I'm not much of a tech geek to get it done with.
