I had no problemo making it back safely to SoCal - staying up late chatting's always a good thing. Stopped for a darts 'n' din-din 'n' epic bad movie break w/a friend in Ashland before hitting Redding Mon night (thank GOODNESS the Best Western there has a jacuzzi). Then blazed down the rest of the way yesterday, making fine time despite numerous breaks (downing 2.5-3 litres of water means I get to experience most every rest stop on Hwy 5) and a meat-heavy meal at Harris Ranch. Managed to avoid caffeine entirely in the process, too, somehow.
So glad that things're moving along at Top Speed. Wishing you well in healing and dealing w/all this nastiness. Looking fwd to hearing the full Tricky Pixies later on this year! *hugz* to you and *wicked evil pokes* to your tumor. I'm betting that your Small & Feisty will prevail.
P.S. The book I thought of whilst s00j sang the alligator song is Zack's Alligator by Shirley Mozelle.
