The good, the bad and the ugly

It's been a very full couple of weeks here, with both good and not-so-good stuff.

The good stuff: lots of wonderful music goings-on lately.

Our house concert (on January 20th, with s00j and gaiaconsort) was hugely successful -- or perhaps I should just say "huge", since about a bazillion people came. So many, in fact, that we set up a live video feed into the ( Read more... )

Oh, wow, hon...Sending massive healing energy your way...

If there's anything local people can do (make some meals, help with the house, whatever), let us know! We'd love to help.

Hang in there, sweetie.

Welcome (back?) to LJ!

I had no problemo making it back safely to SoCal - staying up late chatting's always a good thing. Stopped for a darts 'n' din-din 'n' epic bad movie break w/a friend in Ashland before hitting Redding Mon night (thank GOODNESS the Best Western there has a jacuzzi). Then blazed down the rest of the way yesterday, making fine time despite numerous breaks (downing 2.5-3 litres of water means I get to experience most every rest stop on Hwy 5) and a meat-heavy meal at Harris Ranch. Managed to avoid caffeine entirely in the process, too, somehow.

So glad that things're moving along at Top Speed. Wishing you well in healing and dealing w/all this nastiness. Looking fwd to hearing the full Tricky Pixies later on this year! *hugz* to you and *wicked evil pokes* to your tumor. I'm betting that your Small & Feisty will prevail.

P.S. The book I thought of whilst s00j sang the alligator song is Zack's Alligator by Shirley Mozelle.

I am sending mass quantities of love and healing your way. You are on my altar tonite. Lord Ganesha will get an earful about this! Please take care. You are so immensly strong, I couldn't imagine going through an -enth of what you have and remained such an upbeat, amazingly vibrant woman.

Looooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooove

Oh my. I'll light a candle (ok, how 'bout a raft of them?!!) for a swift and successful healing for you. You're a talented, lovely, inspiring spark. Keep the good stuff going & going so to best stomp the bad stuff far and far away! Gentle hug, pretty brown-eyed one!
