...I'm just not getting why Beyonce's video for Put A Ring On It is supposed to be so great. It's women dressed scantily, dancing skankily on a set with no decorations. How is that groundbreaking? How exactly is that "the best video of all time", even to guys? I mean, let's get real - there's no explosions in it, so how could a guy truly call it "the greatest video of all time"? Especially when up against other videos, presumably with both skanky girls *AND* explosions.
Apologies to the guys out there who have higher taste than that. I'm shooting for lowest common denominator in order to wrap my head around the idea. Sure, the song is catchy enough, but Best Video of All Time?
