She stretches out her legs, feet hitting the floor as she stands, but for once, Rhode keeps the space between them. The can of food hits the mattress with a soft 'thump' as her hands go behind her back.
She won't say 'you're welcome', because Rhode doesn't even like that she helped keep the Fourteenth in line in the first place. Is that what she was supposed to do? Is that what the Earl wanted? To keep the Fourteenth at bay or to have him fully awaken? Rhode didn't even know anymore -- and Allen's presence made her ordinarily black and white loyalty moderately fuzzy, which ticked her off.
So, instead, her eyes harden.]
