God, it feels like I've been away from my computer for so long! Of cousre, I really can't complain about what I was doing offline - I left earlier in the week for Colorado, to see my mom for an early Mother's Day celebration. It was really fun; we're apart a lot, but when we see each other again, it's like I never moved away. I guess I can't help but agree with those girls who say that their mother's like their best friend.
My mom dragged me out to go shopping and stuff for the majority of the week - even though we were looking for clothes the majority of the time, it gave me a chance to get her a few more gifts for the holiday, so it wasn't that bad - but we did visit dad's grave so I could catch up, I guess. And so he could see mom and wish her a happy Mother's Day, too. Something like that. I don't like going there, I don't like even thinking about going there, but ever since the Gramayre trial, where that little girl, Trucy was left alone without a father...I've felt the need.
Anyway, it's great to be back in good ol' Los Angeles (and with a high speed internet connection)! Hopefully I haven't missed too much while I was gone.
