Pictures from yesterday... crazy, right? I went to LACMA (L.A. County Museum of Art), and Ashley was supposed to join me but I didn't get her e-mail saying that she couldn't. We had to see this fashion exhibit, "Breaking the Mode" and a graffiti one, "Consider This..." and for the assignment we have to create an outfit based from the fashion, but inspired by the graffiti.
Fashion didn't allow pictures, but it was really nice. I went inside to sketch by myself after wasting an hour looking for someone to join me. When I came out though, Isabel Boreman and Lara were in line getting tickets, so I went back inside with them to sketch a little more, and then to the graffiti exhibit a block down.
It was pretty cool. The entrance was a crazy mind trip that made you feel like the walls were shrinking.
They set up wood panels on the walls and floor to let people write whatever they wanted on them.
Obviously, I took some "artistic liberty" with these as Tyra would say.
I kept the colors as close to the original as I could though, and anyway you can't deny that it's just better this way.

that had video of people doing stuff.
This brown one had a bunch of mirrors and pictures of clay women. I didn't get it.
It was free for general admission since I'm under 17, so I'm taking Isabel Murray next weekend (mostly for the fashion exhibit). I also wanna check my collage, and take a stencil of Harry to draw in with marker. I'm thinkin' his merrit diamonds ad?
