Flight Zero || History

Character history- Vidia, like all the other fairies, was born from a baby's laugh. Upon entering Pixie Hollow, she was recognized as a fast-flying talent fairy, and she was very proud of that. Ever since that moment, Vidia needed - craved - speed, and quickly put herself on the path to becoming the fastest fast-flying talent ever.

Soon, as she got faster and more confident in her abilities and powers, she drifted away from the other fairies, her attitude becoming increasingly rude, almost mean. She refused to live in the Home Tree with the other fairies, preferring to live by herself in a sour plum tree. She even did something incredibly cruel to better her flying speed; she stole 10 feathers from Mother Dove, the creature whose egg keeps everyone in Never Land from growing old and dying.

Then Tinkerbell arrived in Pixie Hollow, her glowing Tinker Talent outshining even Vidia. Jealous, the fairy tried to get Tinkerbell in trouble, but only succeeded in getting in trouble herself. However, Vidia redeemed herself when tragedy struck Never Land. Mother Dove's egg shattered due to a storm, the pieces going everywhere. As a result, the people of Never Land began to age. Vidia was selected, along with water fairy Rani, and new fairy Prilla, who had no talent, to restore the egg. At tne end of the journey, Vidia had to make a choice: keep some powerful fairy dust for herself to make her faster, or use it on the egg to save Neverland. In the end, she made the right choice, and Neverland was saved.

Later on, Queen Clarion decided to hold a party, but her crown wound up missing. Due to a crack Vidia made earlier to Tinkerbell about stealing it, all fingers pointed to her as the culprit. Her punishment, could she not prove her innocence, would be banishment from Pixie Hollow. Queen Clarion set up a hearing for Vidia to defend herself before leaving. Prilla, the only fairy who believed in Vidia, convinced Vidia to play detective and find the real thief. After a long, wild goose chase around the Home Tree, and thousands of fake crowns, Vidia found the real one herself. She was relieved, but also furious; her desire for revenge at being accused almost made her steal the crown for real. Prilla was the only witness to this moment of weakness.

Vidia presents the crown to Queen Clarion at her hearing, the other fairies now really thinking she stole it, and screaming for her to be exiled. When asked if she had anything to say in her defense, Vidia said no, and instead let all the other fairies that led to the crown vanishing explain themselves. Everyone rejoices, and Vidia gives Prilla a rare gift: her real smile. Not a smirk, or her sickeningly fake smile, but her true, happy smile. Prilla knew that would be the closest she got to a thank you. Queen Clarion planned the part again since the crown had been found, and apologized to Vidia, offering to have her be the guest of honor since she'd found the crown, but Vidia refused, claiming she'd rather go on a wild goose chase again than go to the party.

It's a little while after this that the Digital World calls...
