Becker had been captivated by Jess from the moment he saw her. She was stunning tonight in a short daisy-printed dress with matching flowers in her hair. Becker stared hungrily as she danced alone in the centre of the room. She looked so innocent and yet so alluring. Tonight she would be his.
Jess’s other guests were strangely reserved but Becker hardly noticed.
“You’re definitely the life of the party,” he said when the dance finished and she re-joined him.
“Wrong,” said Jess. Her friends surged close preventing his escape. She rested her mouth gently against his neck. “You are.”
