Favorite Places
One of Katie's favorite places to be: Ontop of the sand mound with Jaime!
The nights were cold (to us) and windy and it was dark, but we still walked along the beach barefoot and built mounds to save us from the ocean that chased after our feet. I stabbed the long stick into the ground and declared that shelter ours forever.
Tonight I went to the Ike Box and saw The Sheperds of Ontario and talked to Tom a little bit. It was cool talking to him. For once I felt like his possible friend, instead of just an adoring fan.
Me: I have placed you upon a pedastel
Tom: I don't mind being in that position
Tom was talking about how him and Rachel were heroin addicts and he quit but she's still on it and that's why she had to move to Colorado. I love how open he is about that.
Tonight I met a lot of cool people:
Teagan- I've seen this girl around everywhere and she always seemed so cool and unique. Finally, I just started talkin to her when I saw her and told her how cool she always looked and such. Tonight we actually got to hang out and talk minus any potential awkwardness because she was friends with Chris.
(She's a freshman at South)
Aaron- Teagan's really pretty junior friend that goes to Mckay. I liked wearing his shoes. We kind of have an inside joke with that now.
Alex Fitch- He's the drummer of Chris' band. Must say, he was pretty as well. I don't think that I've ever met a boy that didn't play an orchestral instrument that truly dug classical music. I'm impressed.

People can be so cool sometimes. I just feel like now that I've met all these unique, pretty, cool, musical, anti-Bush, Strawberry-loving people I'm in for a big dose of anal, Bible thumping, Bushies. Great.
