Tragedy/Excitement/More Excitement
I don't know how I forgot this in my last entry, seeing as how it broke my heart, but 3 of the budgies died on Sunday. Kiwi, Eggy, and Ollie. Kiwi was in the downstairs cage, Eggy and Ollie were in an upstairs cage. I know what happened though. Here is a series of events.
1. (downstairs) Eggy had her eggs.
2. (downstairs) Kiwi bothered Eggy, got moved upstairs with Ollie.
3. (downstairs) Eggy destroyed her eggs, I got mad, moved her upstairs with Ollie and moved Kiwi back downstairs.
4. (upstairs) Aimee didn't feed the birds for a week and a half, kept telling her to, she kept saying she did. Shame on me for not checking.
5. (downstairs) The other birds knew Kiwi was sick from not eating, fought her off, she died.
6. (upstairs) Eggy and Ollie died.
Shame on me, shame on me. I should have checked, I should have been home more often. I feel terrible... not as terrible as she should feel. And she cried and cried, and then had the nerve to say "At least I don't feel guilty because there's food and water there.." Yeah, you fed them on the morning of the day they died.
Otherwise, graduation tomorrow. I'm more excited now, there's practice today so I am assuming I'll be more excited after that. Work is bringing my excitement down a few notches. I hate my job now. And my hours.
Gerardo and I are booking a Disney Cruise to the Western Caribbean. =) I'm so excited for that, we'll be leaving on the 7th and boarding the ship on the 8th. I'm not even worried about spending money ont this, really. He is the best thing to happen to me in a long time, I swear. We're going to have so much fun.. he really is making my dreams come true- swimming with the dolphins, parasailing, ahh!
