I remember looking at a CAH strip a while ago and seeing Calvin say something along the lines of "I don't care about being accepted, I'll settle for being ignored". I remember thinking something similar. I remember wanting to be ignored.
Now I remember this, and remember what an idiot I can be. I don't like being ignored any more, but maybe I just need to find more meaningful things to say. I think I would like to be that guy a little more often. That guy who's got it, who always has something interesting or appealing to say, or at least it would seem that way - the current flavor of the week, the greatest thing since bread came sliced (until a new one is appointed). It certainly seems like after a while, one would seem boring and get taken for granted - it only makes sense.
