I was in Boston over the weekend. I finished off my vacation with a Halloween party on Friday night and a Bruins game on Saturday. The party was a bit blurry, but I do remember they didn't have any food other than a half eaten platter of crackers. I'm just used to the food being the star of any party I go to, because that's how my friends roll. The ( Read more... )

God, that's awful...Lyme can be as serious for dogs as humans. But at least it was caught early enough...

The vet that treated him actually had lyme disease too. It sounds like he'll be ok. I'm just going to have to get him some meds if the symptoms come back

The pain killers seemed to work on him almost immediately. He's pretty much back to normal after only 24 hours. So at least things are looking pretty good

Yeah, usually parties that have 80+ people at them and are hosted by 20-something year olds don't have food at them. Most parties in Boston are purely drinking parties. Feeding people who are going to consume massive amounts of alcohol could get pretty messy. :-P

I was shocked at how huge of an improvement there was in Brady between Monday night and last night. Monday night, seeing him unable to move had me in tears... and last night he was jumping up on me when I got to your place. I never thought I'd be so glad to have him jumping up on me and scratching my arms all up. :)

Love you! (awww... LJ love, haha) <3

I know...I'm not saying it was bad, I'm just saying I was hungry. Instead of having 80 people over why not just have 20??? Then there can be food.

He already seems back to normal. He'll probably even be jumping onto the bed tonight.

Oh no, LJ cooties!

When I went to a Halloween party last year we had about 25 people. And lots of pizza.

I think this is the first time you've commented here
